I already have a title/header banner for my forum, http://www.bikecoalition.com/, but am looking for a better one. The current banner I have is one that resembles an ammo box with the spray on text. Trying to play off the word coalition.

Again the forum is bicycle related. I'm trying to play off the word coalition with kind of an underground or military feel to it. I was also possibly thinking about using something like a linked bike chain in a circle to symbolize the unity/community.

Basically I'm seeing if anyone here could help me out with suggestions/new banner/ or even pictures I could use to help design it.

Well, the most important thing is having a banner which fits, both aesthetically and "physically".

If you keep your current forum skin (the simple green), then you should also use a simple, green banner, as opposed to the dark colors in most of your images that you've included. I love the Uncle Sam image, but unfortunately it just doesn't fit the purpose...it's far too tall to be place at the top of your forums. Maybe you can cut out some of uncle sam and move him around so that you have a short, wide image, as opposed to a narrow, tall image? If not, just use some very simple green text and perhaps a green image of a bike and see how that looks.

The first one is too big, as Ryan said. And the 2nd and 3rd are ones made off a site, i forget the name of the site. I think its like flamingtext.com or something.

Anyway get your banners customized, even though it will cost you something maybe, its worth it.

The uncle sam one is awesome! It's smooth and neat so its nice, although the other banners are just to random and they don't flow to well. Try more of a bike theme and stick to one color and genre. Hope that helps
