| Avatars Hello everyone. I am back in the game only now I am focused on being a forum owner myself. I have recently (finally) started a forum and was wondering about sets of avatars to offer folks. Do other people do this or do you just assume if someone wants an avatar they will upload thier own?

| I personally let my members choose there own, howeer my forum has slightly larger Avatar sizes than other. A couple of forums have preset ones, MEmbers can choose a preset or have there own. A few have a gallery of them, and make the members choose one of them, and NOT let members upload there own. I personally allow any avatar they wish (as long as it fits, and isnt rude.) AF Have a set of preset avatars.

I would make a custom avatar gallery, so they can choose on from you, and let them upload there own. I make custom avatars for my members if they want

| i think having a gallery of avatars for the members to choose from and the option of uploading there own is the best way to go. keeping in mind they are under the size limits etc... | ||||

| some big avatar sizes there, my size limits is 100x100 too. If its too big in size and dimensions it hogs loading time and the page itself. But it could work with some forums. | ||||

| its actually only spose to be 30KB, but ive never taken the time to figure out exactly how many bytes it is for 30.0KB
