Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 274  | Color schemes getting the best of me... Let me start by saying I like purple. I currently have purple on my site. I think it looks good. However, after quite a few suggestions that purple may not be the way to go, plus me finding another pet forum with a purple theme....I've decided to try and come up with something else. Problem being that I'm horrible at picking colors. I want the site to be warm and inviting. The kind of place where you want to hang out there all day. Blues are out. Toooo much blue everywhere else. Brown...maybe, but not a lot. There's a ton of other pet sites that use brown. Nothing too girly, nothing too masculine. I'm stuck. I'm open to any suggestions. I'm just toying with this right now, if I find something great I'll use it, if not I'll stick with what I have...  | ||||

| I have used orange for 3 years, no one has complained. Maybe try that.

Correct but still many are sticking to those forums all day long also, it's not the color it's the contents which I feel will be keeping the users at your place. You can try shades of blue or green or orange (my favourite). | ||||
