Converting phpBB Skin to VBulletin Skin?

Does anyone know of a process or tool that will convert a phpBB skin to a VBulletin skin?

Well, you would have to first ask the author of the skin if it was alright to do so. Then, I believe you would probably have to recode the entire thing... I've never seen any sort of automatic theme converter, but I don't claim to have seen everything .

There is no software which can convert phpbb skin to phpbb.. But you have a bit of know ledge of php you can do it very easily..

most of the phpbb skins are free if you post authors link on your forum.. so if u convert it into vb then just retain a link to authors site ..

I have moved my phpBB skin to VB 3 months ago. It was about a layout created and coded and I placed the forum script in it. Both phpBB and VB rely on HTML to create the themes and tables. So that means you can "copy" some of the tables from the tpl files in phpBB and paste them into the corresponding place in VB.

If you have a free theme or a stock one, I'd say try to see if you find one for the new forum or just use another one. My theme was unique and I wasn't willing to lose it. If it wasn't like that I'd have ditched it.

You'll have to do it manually and that may take some time. You'll probably be better off just finding a new template that looks similar to your old skin (unless you're a good template coder)

Good luck
