New homepage theme *need comments*
Well, I decided to start my homepage skin on PPVGeneral (seeing as I just completed the forum theme) and need some comments and suggestions on it. Specific details would be nice. Also, I tried matching http://forum.ppvgeneral.info 's skin as much as possible.

Pros - Very straight forward, functional design. It's clean, and to the point. Easy to understand, and looks easy to navigate.

Cons - Personally, I'd like to see a little more flare in some of the images. Jazzing up those navigation buttons on the left would really improve thins tremendously. Show off some photoshop talent when promoting a site/forum for such

I would just keep the colour scheme, but work on adding a bit more contrast in the images. Give it a little pop

I really am not sure how though. I want to keep it simple and neat but also attractive.

Yeah, I don't notice a difference either:

I agree with DrkSnpr14 though, for a site involving photoshop, it just seems a bit too simplistic. I like simplistic, but I don't know if it goes well with a graphics related site. Another thing that I would change is make the Fonts smaller. I think smaller fonts (in general, not always) seem to give it a more professional feel.

Just a few ideas
