Refreshing issue

I am new to this forum building php stuff so be gentle.

I am building a sound engineering forum and have a slight issue when refreshing the page.

I am using the acid tech template on a phpBB2 site at: http://www.soundengineeringforums.com/phpBB2/index.php

My issue is that I have a navigation bar on the left for use as a links bar.

When I refresh the page, the forums disappear, the links bar moves to the middle of the screen, then it all pops into place and looks fine.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Do you get the same issue when you visit the page?

It isn't a big issue but I'm a bit of a perfectionist and it's annoying me a tad.

Thanks for any help.

Couple of things I see wrong, first one is the top buttons are using TD cells to hold the data but are not inside a TABLE tag - still displays correctly but I would change this.

With the sidebar, try positioning this as soon as page loads either by using a div tag and CSS or by wrapping sidebar and main content in a table and setting the width of the sidebar explicitly and aligning it to left

Ok I'll try to work out what that means and get on it.

Thanks for your help.
