Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 274  | Are you ever satisfied? With your forum design? Or are you constantly trying to improve and make it better? I'll admit that I doubt I'll ever be truly happy with my design. Unless of course I spend a couple hundred for a custom skin...then I better be happy with it! LOL I'm always thinking up ways to tweaks things, or change something. But I'm like that with most of my projects in life, never truly 'finished' with them. How 'bout you?  | ||||

| Yeah i've got the sense that im never finished on my forums, theres always something to do little or big. I guess if i didn't have that feeling, then i would be pretty bored on my forum hey.  | ||||

| lol, funny you should bring this up. I used to drive the folks at The Basement nuts with a new skin every 3 months or so. Even now I'm ALWAYS tweaking things here and there. It's a continuous work in progress you might say  | ||||

Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 151 | When I first took over my main forum, it was awful. The design was gray and brown, and completely wrong for a forum of clowns. I don't have very strong design skills, but even I knew I could do better. I replaced it with a simple yet colorful design of my own, and the place perked up quite a bit. I'm sure it could be better but it will do for now, and I make little changes here and there constantly. The members generally love it and one even told me she sees it almost as getting a small present, to log on and find a new image or smiley. | ||||

| Even though CompuForums has a bespoke skin I'm always tweaking it. Delete a table here, add a line there. I usually make the changes very subtle, but it's surprising what a difference going from a harsh-white to very-light blue can make. | ||||
