They're a little more pink than I expected (maybe magenta wasn't the right shade!)
In any case, I really appreciate the effort!
I like the original color of the padlock (silver/blue) so don't worry about that. I think the icon that shows new posts should have a background in a different color, you know so it really jumps at you. How about the combination of those 4 colors?:

There won't be any blue shade in my new skin, so I'm reluctant to have a blue border and blue pins. Otherwise, it's nice!
