Feedback on banners please =D

Hey people,

I just want you to have some feedbacks on my banners... it is not that good I know, but I was trying my best (I am a noob)

Not bad at all.
It would be nice if the text was a little sharper and crisper, and the background image had better resolution.

As Brandr said, also gif works best for banners, and you should conform to standard banner sizes (486x60 for a small banner) - If you're using Photoshop, here are a few tutorials to help

Thanks man

For the background, I only did a cloud filter in PS...Nothing really special.. I will try making it more details..

Um for the text, I used Outer Glow, Is disabling what you are meaning?

First I need to correct myself, it's 468x60 for a standard banner

Secondly, there isn't enough contrast between the text and it's background - I would suggest putting a 1px stroke on in a colour like red and see how it looks.

Why not do the background the same color as your background on your site.
Right now the text is to hard to read.

Your text needs more definition. A light outerglow with white text has a nice dreamy effect, but it's not what you want functionally for a banner. You want your text to be a crisp and readable as possible.
