| Banished | ThatsLifeForum.com Forum Network Design: Beta 1.0 Alright, I just finished my design for the TLF Network! I got a lot of positive responses about That's Life Forum in this thread which has more info about it and has the main layout design. If you didn't see the main layout design you should, or else this will not make sense to you. Copy and paste this into your browser's URL box: Code: http://thatslifeforum.com/placeholder/layout.JPG - HUGE! or smaller: http://thatslifeforum.com/placeholder/layout2.JPG It is not crazily modified where it would be almost impossible to make, or very hard/complicated, but I do think it is a nicer version of the default vB profile page. Copy and paste this into your browser's URL box to view: Code: http://thatslifeforum.com/placeholder/tlfnetwork.JPG - HUGE! or smaller: http://thatslifeforum.com/placeholder/tlfnetwork2.JPG However, two of the things that I do want to have that I do not really know are possible are: You may notice that there are no group memberships listed. Well, there actually are. For example, on the bottom left, you see Xbox 360. Xbox 360 is the name of the public group membership and also the custom profile field category name. I want to make it so that when a user joins a new group they will have new profile fields in their User CP for that group only. So when they join Xbox 360 they can go to their CP and enter their gamertag, favorite game, etc. Then I want to the group name to show where the profile field category would be. The one titled "Personal Information" and also "Favorites" would be there by default when you register the forum. Then next to that you see Friends and Comments. I simply want it to show the user's friends under friends. These are the people they add to their buddy list, maybe. It shows their top latest 4 friends' profile picture and username below. Then it has pages to scroll through the rest of their friends and to the left of that is says the total number they have. Each profile picture/username takes you to their network. Under this is the comments. This simply shows the commenter's profile picture, username/usertitle, and comment just how you see it. This would display maybe five until you need to scroll through pages like the friends. This would be very simple, maybe based off usernotes. Also, the profile picture is not shown in my drawing. That would either be next to the avatar, under the comments, or not shown at all. (Only shown on users' friends lists.) Tell me what you think and let me know how hard you think it would be for someone to make a profile page like this. Again, appreciate the great feedback from the TLF main layout! (Just need someone to make it for me exactly how I imagine it. )Thanks! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well from what I am reading you have hours upon hours of coding. Unless you are a very good coder or are rich I don't think much of what you want will happen. Things like rewriting the url's will take a lot of work just to start.

| Banished | Sorry, but I disagree. The only thing that may be hard to do is the group memberships/custom field thing. The friends/comments thing might be a little harder too but if worse comes to worse there are a few hacks that are somewhat similar to this. Estimated Price: $1,000 |

![]() | Looking good. Great features you plan on having. How/where did you get the estimated price? |

| Banished | I got it from Miner. He said this would fall under his C package. |

| Banished | Nothing will be rushed. That is what I love about TLF; the fact that I'm taking as much time as I need to get EVERYTHING how I want it. |
