vBulletin questions

Hi everyone.Well I just started a new website and I am now using vBulletin. Could you please point me out in a few directions of which hacks could I use to make my forums more user friendly?

I have 3 questions for now regarding vBulletin.

1 - How do I add one more button oon the navigation bar (Home, Rules, UserCp, etc..) how do I add a new one there?

2 - How can I include a left column just like the one you have on the left of my forums? So I can list whatever I want there?

3 - How do I add an image for every user group? You know there's the avatar and then goes a little image below. How do I set that up?

That's all I have in mind for now. Can anyone help?Thanks in advance for whatever the answer might be.

What version are you using?

Well I will answer for 3.5.X

1)Styles & Templates--> Style Manager --> Your skin --->Navagation---> Navibar
2) It is a hack at VB.org link
3) They are the user images in your user groups.

I dont exactly know what you guys mean by having an image for every usergroup. I went into the admincp, and looked under usergroups, but I cant find anywhere to add usergroup pics. If you guys don't mind, details please.

Yeah, you can either do it through the Rank Manager or in the Usergroups themselves. If you do it in the Usergroup, what you do is replace the Titlefield with img html code, such as

HTML Code:
<img src="http://yourdomain.com/path/to/rank.gif">
Changing it in Usergroups will display the image where titles are...changing it as a rank will display the image underneath their reputation...That's for a vertical postbit, I don't know where they display for a horizontal postbit
