Has anyone worked with Vivvo?

Vivvo CMS Demo Site

I'm really interested in it... I need a way to have a content packed website and allow our forums to supply some of that content and support the site. Our forums are closed to guest view for the most part-- believe me I've gone round and round about it. it's not the best situation but I think having something like a great CMS will let people know what we're about without having to bust the doors wide open. We'd love to run public contests and challenges and give 'Gold, Silver, Platinum' forum memberships to top participants.

I know there are free CMS options like Joomla... does it compare ? I need something easy, I am technologically challenged. I know just enough to get in trouble and not enough to get out of it.

I want to do a major site redesign (CMS and forum skin) to give us a more professional look.

Can it be intergrated with vbulletin or your forum software?

Might want to look at Drupal 6. I suspect they will have integration with vBulletin soon for that version.

Good ? Sir Howard. I believe I read that it will integrate but I would have to check again.

Bamastangguy thanks for the recommend. I'll look at Drupal too.

I'm currently working on Drupal 6/vBulletin for a new site that I am hoping to launch by summers end. The wordpress integration that I was able to achieve never made me happy.

I do like that Vivvo layout though.

Yeah I am not sure the WP integration was going to give me what I was really looking for.

Drupal6 is not the same as vbdrupal is it? I see a lot of people on various sites dropping that because they say it's confusing.

vBDrupal should have a version that supports 6 soon. I believe there is also one other one as well.

Hm. Drupal looks like it might give me what I want without having to spend $195.

You recommend waiting for Drupal 6 integration? I wonder how far off they are... I'd really like to brighten us up for Spring.
