hiphop/rap what this mean exactly!
I have commited to design a skin for an hiphop/rap site and customer has given me his liking as follow:

my target audience is mostly men between the ages of 13-22 and I want to show a "hip hop" theme, since the site is about 2 artists "battling" each other. Possible ideas to show this street/thug appearance would be to display in the header two dark shadows of rappers facing each other with spit flying in the air like they are doing a rap battle against each other.

just want a really nice design for a hip-hop artist audience.
I can understand what he expects and all but need much info about hiphop/rap what this mean exactly? as i am been broughtup from a remote village in India and dont have much idea about your western culture of today that doesn mean i am totally noob just need to know more about it...

also if possible post some links thats related to this topic...

Miner, IMHO that banner has too much empty space. The general theme is basically right, though something more violent would likely fit.

The images are nice...But they are on they are pretty light in colors...I think some dark BG color will make it look much better!

Rap/HipHop is :
