My Forum look, how could I imrove it ?

My forum currently uses the default vb 3.5 style but I'd like to give the forum a unique look. I have a few styles installed for members to choose from and I have a slighly modified version of this style which I'm using myself. I quite like this style and may set it as the forum default but it just seems to be lacking something . . . but I'm not sure what. Does it need a better logo or css alteration ?

I don't want to make the style look too busy or garish but it doesn't look finished really.

Any advice welcome

Hm...

Change the skin...Your skin is not matching with your forums theme...and add some categories in and keep your forums organized! I see you have everythign in one category...However, not sure if it is due to some guest permissions.

Yea keep it organized...And make it look like a bike forums

Do you mean change the skin I have in the 2 image links or change the default skin ?

I should point out that we're almost all over 40's so don't want a boy racer look.

I agree with Eminem, though u have metioned its for members over 40's but still need to change the skin maybe a dark them will be suitable...

hmmm..

provide me a picture of the bike u like most a larger one will be fine, with the front pose of the bike, i will try making a header with it for u...

Miner,
Thanks a lot for the kind offer, I'm having a bit of difficulty finding the right image but hopefully one of the attached images will be useful. I think my own preference would be the pic showing the rider on the bike with the blue sky background ?
I'd like to try and stay away from dark style's if at all possible as I have one installed at the moment and it doesn't get used. I'm no expert though so will listen to advice.

Thanks Hydron I'm impressed with that, I've got it on my forums at the moment. Do you think it could have some kind of border or smoothing effect to remove the square edges maybe ? Just a thought.
