You were telling vBulletin to look in vb/upload/images/ when it didnt exist. It should have been telling vBulletin to look in vb/images/

First thing we tried and it made no difference. Plus the images for the default skin were in the correct place and not working. Strange thing was that the images in the upload/images/ folder did work at first. They just stopped working at the same time as the default skin images.
