Ok I need a way for my main VB skin to autodetect if a browser is a mobile web browser. like the ones on phones and pda devices like palm pilots operating on palm OS and so on.

I also need help is finding out how to get PDA's/Phones to recognize the text size changes made to the skin to resize the stuff smaller so more info can fit on the screen.

Do we have any users here that know how to do this or know of a place that has a skin that already has this stuff and I can just tailor it to my liking.

Edit: I have started on a skin to work with PDAs but I'm running into the problem of it not recognizing things right on the browsers for a lot of devices. My website is accessed by around 100 users a day from their mobile devices. I would like to help and increase their ease of use for being able to do view the site as I am sure once I do this I will be able to get some decent donations from my members to be to pay for a lot more hosting for the site.

I ended up finding some info on the VB sites but the ones that they have on there still are not fully functioning/compatible

I need to go into the code and just strip out all the extra stuff in there, but I could use some help with understanding the code and making sure I don't remove the wrong stuff. If you are willing to take on this project let me know.

basically I want to make a Lite / WAP / PDA compatible skin or my site so my users can browse the site more easily.

I have loaded a few test skins onto my other domain that is going to be taken down and pointed to the other one here in a couple months.

Unfortunately this doesn't appear to be the best place to ask...I'd try some webmaster and/or coding forums. This isn't necessarily something specific to forums, but is moreso a code-based question...4 bumps with no responses likely means that nobody here knows.

I found one on one of the VB sites that seems to be farily interactive but I have to do some chopping of it it to work completely right.

So i think it would be better to team up withsomeone that can help get a WAP/PDA skin working that will have all the functions just without all the extra crap.

I still can't figure out what I need to type in to make the text show smaller on my palm OS device. I need to find a windows mobile device that i can borrow so that i can use that to play and see how it accepts changes and all.
