This skin is a good basis but it has a lot of errors:

The user on/off/invisible that shows in the threads icons are all the same image, I had to fix that.

The folders that show on the main page are nice but the box around them messes things up. I had to edit those and remove the rear box from the image due when you go to a main forum the subforums utilize the same images to show if new posts are contained within there. The problem problem is that the subforums get listed under the secondary color when on the main page the primary color is utilized.

Also the main gradients blue line lines out the definition text for the forum directories. I moved the blue line to the top and extended the image to 41 or 42 pixels high and added a secondary line at the bottom to show when the forum directories do have a definition.

Next I edited the editors color setting so that it matches the forums coloring as well as adjusted the image pack for the editor so that it kinda goes along with the skin.

This was a good place to start but if the admins would like to contact me about taking a peak at the new setup and all the adjustments please just PM me I'd be happy to send you the new XML file as well as all the other new images.

If I change the skin on my forum, will the template changes I've made stay there or will they need to be done from scratch again? Thanks

This problem needs to be fixed. It also appears in the screenshots you provided. My guess would be to add a padding/margin on the element that the line is running through? However, I have zero experience manipulating vBulletin.

The problem is that it's using a fixed image instead of stretching it...this could be solved one way or another, but I don't know how to do it either...You can solve the problem by removing category descriptions all together...Most forums do not have a need for them.

Right. I ended up just taking out the category subtitles. Didn't need them.

However, I'm going to see if I can add some padding to the subtitle element so it doesn't do that.
