Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 185  | Does having adsense = more google indexing my site? As the title of this post says by having adsense on your site does that mean that google will index your site more than if you did not have adsense on it?

This changed a while back when Google figured it was silly for all their bots to request fresh pages from servers. They save bandwidth by caching pages at their datacenters, then all their bots can crawl it from there. Google say that having adsense on your site makes no difference at all to rankings or how often you're spidered, but I think it has a part to play (i.e. the more traffic you get, the more money you and Google get). I haven't tested this theory though. | ||||
