Would this method for vBulletin optimization give better results

Can someone take a look at the following thread and maybe suggest if this method would work better for onpage optimization.

Title and Description Changes for Better SEO v3.63 - vBulletin FAQ Forums

I know it is an old thread, but I tried it in one of my smaller vB forums and I saw a slight increase in Google activity on my boards. I also noticed that I have more indexed pages for the last 2 weeks, while I applied this method a month ago.

I do not have vBSEO in that board.

I am not sure if this caused it or the Google PR update, but any hints are appreciated.

lol, you need to wait more than a couple of hours for an answer.

Anyways, I would say that would help seo for your internal pages since it gives them more relevant descriptions.

Thanks friend. I hope I have some more views.

One of the guys from vbseo said that since vbulletinfaq is not listed on top listings of Google rankings, I should not count for too much in this method.

I look forward to more replies. Thanks

Thats cause the vB-Faq are pretty Anti vbSEO as they come.

However this method does give your pages greater relevancy to descriptions and keywords.

I won't comment on vBseo cause i don't have it and wouldn't. I will say i have used many of Joey's tips and tricks on my sites and they seem to do a good bit to help rankings...
