Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 185  | I have a somewhat high Alexa rank - what does that mean? Well i currently have a rank of 122,383 on Alexa what does that mean? I somewhat understand if i have a high google page rank *currently a 3* i will be pretty high on google searches. I have no clue what a high Alexa rank will do for me

| With Alexa the Lower the number the better.. They are pretty much saying they have ranked 122,382 sites higher then yours. Yahoo, msn, google are all like alaxa rank 2,3,4

| No. Alexa ranking won't help you on search engines. It will allow you to charge more for advertising though in most cases. | ||||

Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 15 | From myf things, the lower your alexa rank, the better your site is doing But how does this translate to sales and traffic Well alexa rank is in some way related to the reach of your site but your best judge of how well your site is doing is your search engine results page position for your chosen keywords | ||||
