Does high google PR mean high traffic?

Well i have gone to a good amount of sites and they have a high google PR but a very lower Alexa Rank *A lot worse than my site*

I would think that if you have a very high google PR then you site gets a lot of traffic. Or does that mean that a site has a lot of back links which got it the hight google PR?

It means a few things in any combination.

Has lots of backlinks, has been around for years. PR doesn't directly relate to traffic but chances are higher PR sites have more traffic. Just because Alexa ranks a site higher doesn't necessarily mean it's getting more traffic. Alexa shouldn't be taken entirely accurate.

ah
very good explanation
well nothing is perfectly "accurate" but Alexia is used to get a general sense of traffic your site may be getting

Alexa is horrible in my opinion. You install their toolbar and your site skyrockets, uninstall it and it drops.

I haven't looked at Alexa rankings in years.

It doesn't only count people who have toolbar installed now.

PR is just a reflection of how valuable Google thinks your site is. Yes there are some factors that high PR has in common with traffic eg number of quality backlinks, content etc but there are other factors as well. I would suggest that you spend your time focusing on backlinks and optimizing your sites for the search engines
Yes it is flattering to have a high PR site but no doesn't convert to traffic or conversions

I do not think PR matters when it comes to traffic.
PR is just unrelated to it!

I wouldn't go that far. It is related, just not directly related. Google ranks search engine results based on PR and content. If you have the same exact article as a site with a PR 7 but you only have PR 2... you can bet that the PR 7 site is showing up in front of yours.
