How can I boost my Google PageRank?

Hi,

Any tips for boosting my website's Google PageRank? Its currently got a rank of 2.

I have a blog on the site that I update every couple of days, Ive added the website url to various directories and Ive submitted it to search engines...

How long will it be until I see an increase in my PageRank?

Any other tips please?

Well, you need to have strong backlinks that is related to your niche

Yep strong links but also 2 other factors are age (of website) and useful content.

Get great unique content on your website and the rest will fall into place.

just some answers to your question

1) start posting on many relevant forums with links in your signature back to your site
2) start posting regularly on many relevant blogs with links in your signature back to your site
3) start writing articles for relevant blogs and article sites with links back to your site
4) trade links with as many relevant sites as you can, particularly ones with higher PR rant then you have.

keep relevant posting going on many other sites.

as far as how long it will take, a lot has to do with when google updates their PR ranking, which no one ever knows.

you need to be adding new active links all of the time and ongoing.
