My site is in my signature, for starters. How can I increase my sites PR? Right now it is a PR2. I have submitted my links to various links submissions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get your link on as many pages (high PR pages preferrably) as you can...I think that's really the best thing to do for PR. Exchanges, directories, paid links, etc.

Don't get too wrapped up in PR though, it really will not do much for your site other than give you more advertising power (higher rates)

Well I am not going to pay for it. I have tried directories, but after reviewing stats they helped 0 amount. No links or anything. It might have helped PR, but in the retrospect of things PR is really nothing.

Exactly, I would spend more time writing new content rather than trying to build PR. You do need quality sites linking your way however.

The best ways to increase your site PR - Join forums and place you website link in the signature, submit to search engine directories as most of them are free, also join article submission directories and finally try to gain links from related websites.
People who are having high PR site need to concentrate only on content part while others have to focus on page seo and link popularity.

I agree, get content going and get some back links going and your PR will come in time. Don’t focus on the PR itself; concentrate on getting the content going.

Golden Rule:

NEVER EXPECT TOO MUCH

Put your links on different sites/forums etc. Trade links with friends and other members, BUT don't let it get over you. Never expect, cause you'll just get hurt if you wont get what you are hoping for. Do "linkies" for fun. And don't trust those ranking predictions too much even if they say that it's a 99.9% possibility that your site will get 7/10 next month.

It's better to expect less cause if you won't get it, at least, you didn't expected it. Remember that sometimes, being optimistic is not that good. There are lots of twists and turns on this world we're living in. Whether online or in the real world, never expect too much. You'll be amazed how life works sometimes. Deceiving, yet rewarding.
