Yes but i believe you may transfer it after the first year, so bascially it'lll be 10 dollars from another registar after you move it

No i do not belive so. I found this link on fws and the other hosts were talking about it and mention to read the tos and a few people have and were saying that it was free for the first year but you can transfer it after that

Generally, when you transfer a domain over, you get a 1 year extension, so if you transfer it before it expires, you'll actually renew at $10 instead of $35. Subsequent years would be billed at your new registrars rate.

I didn't quite make it that far, I didn't register one with them, however, I'd hope not. That'd be a horrible baiting setup.
