Which one is Good? Shared Hosting / Dedicated Hosting

Hello Friends,

I would like to know about primary difference between shared hosting and dedicated hosting? Which is the cheapest service in both? what is the advantage of both services?

Shared Hosting of course is cheaper, If you do shared hosting, you will have other websites that you do not own on the server. Dedicated is the opposite. Here is some more info

Dedicated hosting runs you at least $100 USD a month, plus you may have to pay a 1 time set up fee of a few hundred.

In shared hosting you will share the same IP address with other users while in dedicated hosting you own your personal server and are responsible for its maintenance and security but that's not in shared hosting. Shared hosting is cheapest among them.
In shared hosting as many users share same IP address, if one misbehaving user gets that IP address black listed other web sites on that server also get blacklisted. I used to use shared hosting, but because you are sharing the server sometimes it gets real slow and bogged down as others could be using up lots of the resources. Since I had a few sites that depended on speed and reliability I finally got the dedicated....have never regretted spending the extra money.

It really depends on your needs. If you're running a small website with a relatively low amount of traffic, then I would recommend shared hosting.
If you website is big with high amount of traffic, e.g AdminFusion, then dedicated hosting will be better as it is much faster.

Both web hosting services has its pros and cons. shared hosting allows you to share single web server with other domains. But the dedicated web hosting dedicates the whole web server to the single domain. You have no need to share it with any other domain. But shared web hosting is cheap than dedicated web hosting.
