I'm going to be out of school in '09, and I'm going to save up money till then (except 250 for a guitar), but I should have quite a bit. Also what forum software should i go with, and what kind of hosting should I go with. Any answers would greatly be appreciated.  | ||||

| I think Shared is best to start with, Software really depends. If its a technical forum, or forum where people know about forums, i suggest paid such as IPB or vBulletin. Though other sorts you might get away with phpBB & SMF. Dedicated hosting is very expensive.

| I use Zernebok Hosting which is www.zernebok.com (ignore the coming soon sign, i know the owner from a forum) the lowest package is £20 a YEAR, (about $38) thats shared hosting, which i dont think is bad. EDIT: Zernebok Hosting LTD Prices list is HERE http://www.zernebok.com/packages.txt

| I love our Dedicated Server. Mainly because we run the show - we don't have to contact our host to install Apache or upgrade PHP; we just do it ourselves, much nicer.
