Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 340  | We need a new host: Help please! I'm at the end of my rope with Lunarpages. I have been a customer for a while now but my site keeps getting slower and slower. Today it is horribly slow and the customer service is lacking. 50 minutes on hold today for a guy to tell me "they are working on it" 10 hours later site runs slower then ever. I called the server hotline and they say everything is running fine. Anyway who do you guys recommend. I think we have out grown a shared server. What about a "Virtual Private Sever" LP sells em for $39 / month. Any advice appreciated.

| Check out WireNine.com or ASmallOrange.com, both have been excellent to me and with that, I do my best to recommend them to just about everyone  .Support has always been quick and efficient, not too broad, but not simplistic answers without detail. We did have one issue with WireNine (DNS related), though they not only moved us to a more spacious server, they fixed the DNS and continued checking in with me to make sure it was working as it should. Most hosting companies drop the support if you do not respond, WireNine kept checking in until I had a confirmation that it was working world-wide. | ||||

| I'm also on Cirtex but I'm not sure that I can recommend them at this time. Server issues apparently, but my site often goes down for a few minutes or the SQL server fails. Maybe next time I'll open a support ticket rather than talking to live chat. | ||||
