I've heard some great things about orange now. Thanks for the rec. I'm just concerned about the PITA of moving. I'm worried about that. That is the only thing keeping me at LP at this point.

Do you guys think I could get away with being on a shared server at small orange? I don't think LP was managing the shared server I was on well. Or would I need to go VPS?

You're on the brink of needing a VPS from what I can tell...If your forums are continuing to grow, now would be a good time to move to a VPS, particularly since you will be moving anyways. It's better to move once now than it is to move now and again in a month when your new shared server isn't enough.

If you do this, be sure to promote like crazy to take full advantage of your VPS

im on tiny which is a shared server and its good, but im going to upgrade to a small account (which is still shared) because im running out of disk space

i would just go with shared for now because for me its all good

(and if you sign up tell them wstumpf sent ya )
