Hosting dilemma for new forum

I am in the process of starting a new forum which I feel has a very good chance at getting very big.

Here's the problem I am faced with:

I currently am on a shared plan with A Small Orange. Currently I have 1 vB forum there along with other little websites. The existing forum has on average 15 users on at any point in time. Now I want to add on this new forum. I have a feeling this will be too much for a shared plan. Do you agree?

Also what route do you think is best to remedy this. Should I just stick with the shared hosting and run 2 forums until I start having issue's and then upgrade. Or should I count my chickens before they are hatched and get a VPS for this new forum now?

What are the details on the hosting plan. BW/Diskspace? Personally I have always found it very easy to move forums. Infact the time it takes to move forums has become relatively small given how fast DNS tends to replicate now-a-days. Couple that with external DNS hosting and it is an even faster propogation. So, personally if I was starting a site and was certain my initial host could handle another site for a short while I would stick with my current host and monitor usages as it grew. While that was happening I would be researching other options to handle the growth, that way when I did need to move it the only thing would be to do is the formality of actually getting the account with the new host and the actual move process. I have moved several sites where most ppl didn't see a down time at all and if they did it was just for a few hours. So that would be my decision. That is, of course, assuming you could follow my random and some times incoherent ramblings when I answer questions.

Thanks for the quick reply. What you says makes sense. The plan I currently have is 2500gb of space and 60gb of BW. So I should be ok for a little bit as I only use about half of that BW per month.
