SSH backups, turning certain things on and off, and other things, If your wanting to use cPanel, VPS or Shared is probably best...

Also, what company are you thinking of using, i am also looking for a dedicated/VPS account, however i cannot find a company decently priced for me..

It sounds like you don't know much about running a Dedicated Server.
I think you should use Shared and then go to VPS then to Dedicated servers.

There is no real need to run a small site on a Dedicated Server.

I know but i plan to offer hosting with it so rather than getting a reseller i figured go full out it saves me learning when i need it. It is better to learn before so then i know for when it comes to it.

I would reccomend getting a reseller, or VPS before getting a dedicated. But whatever you want.

I wouldn't think that they would cost much more than what you would pay for a self managed server but in the end as there is less chance that anything would go wrong
