I like GoDaddy and have heard that NameCheap is good. They may not be the cheapest around but they do accept PayPal and they are reliable.

If you are planning to sell domains at a later stage then go with Namecheap, their domain push option is better than Godaddy's. Though Godaddy usually has domain names for sale at a cheaper rate.

I'd go with GoDaddy - I've never had any complaints with them

Oh, and don't ever buy a domain at GoDaddy without using a promo code, there is always one out there

The one listed here (OYH3) still works. I used it a couple days ago...but it seems like it was $7.15 and not $6.95...either way, it's cheaper than the "going rate"

Sometimes you'll see special offers where domains go for just a buck or two...Or you can get one for free if you buy hosting...but you can always count on one for $6-7 with a coupon code from GoDaddy

It annoys me that they don't include the ICANN charge in the coupon.

Namecheap with coupon codes can sometimes lead to a price less than USD 8. I mean, it's a good deal for such good service and customer friendly panel.

Coupon codes can be found on the net easily.

NOBODY mentions the ICANN fee when they list the going rate of registering a domain.
