You could probably have 10-15 members online without any problems. It's rare a new site will have that many anyways. If you have a 512k up you can do 25-50 people online. Many providers throttle connections on a shared environment and people aren't even aware of that. I have a 1mb up on my home pipe and 7mb down. I can run a game server on that if I wanted too. I have done so in the past. DSL isn't as reliable as cable (for the most part) but either will suffice. How many of you have done a home server? Raise your hand. Oh..what?
