I disagree

I prefer to have all of my domains hosted in the same place (GoDaddy)...When you have your host register your domain for you, it starts to become harder to manage multiple domains and transferring your domain to a new host or owner can get nasty...It's easy as 1, 2, 3 to transfer a domain when it's registered at a major registrar, but not easy to do it when you register through a host - sometimes you're even forced to pay a fee

(renewal wise etc)

Right, but if you own 2000+ domains, then you have GOT to be making some good money off of them. If you own a domain and do not make more than $10 off of it in an entire year, then you're simply wasting your money on that domain.

I honestly think that buying domains can become an addiction - You shouldn't be buying them unless you have a good reason for it.

Well, I just did a search for a domain on GoDaddy and the price before coupons etc has gone up to $9.99 (it was $7.99 before right?)
