Who's your hosting provider?

I've been with the planet for the past few months now. Support is great and uptime is wonderful. I once had a problem with the dns not working and their support staff called me on the phone on a Friday night to let me know that the my websites were back online.

They were up and running fine when I got home and boy was I pleased. I've tried Liquidweb in the past and back in January - April while I was away from the internet, my partner reported to me that Liquidweb tried to update our harddrives and change them to a better one, however; they failed to bring along on our forum databases.

Needless to say, that forum had to start from scratch. 2,500 members, 60,000 posts and 5,000 threads. That wasn't fun at all.

So, who's your hosting provider? Have a story to share? Let us hear it!

I'm normally with Servage, but i currently cant afford a year of hosting as thats what i normally pay because i'm saving up for a christmas holiday, there up-time was perfect, i never had any down town whilst i was with them for about 2years.

I'm currently hosted with x10hosting ad-free, temporarily - i actually rather hate it at the moment because the amount of sign-ups they get, the server does tend to lag sometimes.

I am using Knownhost for almost a year now, had a few problems but they were sorted out properly. Overall quite pleased with their service and server performance.

I am with A Small Orange - Web Hosting, Software and more!

I love them. There are a lot of us here at AF that use them. I have no complaints and when i have had some problems, they were fixed within minutes, I have no plans to change.

ASO Rocks!

My forum is still hosted with 1and1. But I also have an account with A Small Orange and will be using them for any future forums.

it is hard for me to keep one host. I used hostgator earlier on this year for a good 5-6 months and they ahd great service. Then I switched to iiPanel Webhosting | Reliable Shared hosting, Reseller Hosting, Domain Names, Webhosting Solutions they have great service as well and affordable prices. Support isn't as good as hostgator's but it is affordable.

Hmm, i am looking to switch hosts, and a small orange is very good by the looks of its specs & pricing.

Ever had any serious downtime or slowness?

I have only had sites running on them for a few months now but I have had 0 problems with them. It is a bit pricey for the amount of space you get but you get what you pay for with them.
