| I doubt there would be any free proxy hosting! And if you, by chance, find one... it won't remain in business for long. Proxies can't be run successfully on a shared hosting. (owing to the very high memory and processing load requirements). So, you either need a VPS or a Dedicated server to host it without any problems.  | ||||

| Honestly, you'll be pushing it to run a successful proxy on a VPS. You'd be better off with shared hosting  . VPS caps you on memory and you'll receive OOM erros whereas with shared hosting, you'll normally receive a notice from your host asking you to reduce usage if it isn't too heavy.If you want to run a successful proxy, semi-dedicated or dedicated is about the best option.
