Are .eu domains good for business?

Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 174 Location: Cornwall, UK      | Are .eu domains good for business? I don't know much about .eu domains but I wondered if they're good to have if you have a business in the EU? I wanted to register a .com domain for one of my businesses but it's taken and so are the other TLDs, as well as the .co.uk so I'm looking at the .eu instead. What do you think?

| i don't know the ins and outs of it but i have never to my knowledge seen a .eu come up in search engine results for me | |

Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 174 Location: Cornwall, UK | Well, the business would be heavily promoted other than search engine submissions via backlinks, word of mouth and advertising etc so I'm not particularly worried about that. I'm expecting the products to become very well known after they've launched in maybe a couple of years time. So search engine results aren't a big thing for me in this case.
