The name, AirborneFive, came from Jon, the primary Owner and Founder of AirborneFive.

He was in the military (Reg. Army) and set to attend Airborne ("Jump School") training after his release from basic training as an 11C (11 Charlie - Mortorman). He was later discharged due to injury during basic training with a week left before deployment to his base, however, he kept the military aspect of things with him and decided to go back to work for himself doing what he loved to do.

Airborne comes from Airborne training, otherwise known as Jump School, Five came from the amount of days from graduation he was before he was discharged from the Army due to both a knee and back injury.

So technically, he was 5 days away from graduation and attending Airborne training .


A slightly different story than most have, I'm sure .
