Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 8  | Overcoming SMTP Blocking Ok, I am running a webserver on Comcast cable and their port blocking is really annoying me. FTP, HTTP and everything else has been carefully fixed, but SMTP remains a problem. I need help coming up with ideas of overcoming the block. One idea I had was a program that changes SMTP commands to POP3, thus (probably) allowing them to be sent without error using something like Gmail. Does anyone know of a program that does this? For the record I an running Win 2K WS, XAMPP and using (mainly) PHPBB and Media Wiki.  | ||||
