| Depends on the topic. I tend to think that arts-related sites lean more towards .org (such as my writing forum I am currently developing) but all in all, I don't think it matters much.  | ||||

| I have read somewhere that if you are expecting to receive most of your hits off of search engines (SE) then any top level domain (tld) is fine. If you want something easy to remember when someone types it in the address bar, then you might want the dot com.

| If the dotcom isn't available, I usually revaluate my choice of domain. I try to stay with dotcom's.
