Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 10,246 Location: Athens, GA    | And I'll 3rd Site5. That is our previous host here at AF...I've been with a lot of hosts over the past 5-6 years, and Site5 has arguably been the best.

Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 10,246 Location: Athens, GA | Because of the merger with Best-Board and a change in owner structure...Lee co-owns AF and he also has many of his own dedicated servers for his other projects. He had extra space, so there was no sense in sitting on a shared host if we have dedicated space available to us...I'm sure that at this point, had we stuck with Site5, we would have been forced to leave anyways...as a forum as busy as AF is not going to perform well on a shared server. The move from Site5 had nothing to do with Site5 or their services...just things changing here at AF.
