Hello i now finishing my general forum with general themes.On howmuch sites i need to add my forum to get first 100 registred users?And how to prevent syndrom of empty forum,i mean someone who will come if he see forum with little users he will probaly not register.

Really there's no right answer to any of them...it's a tough road with the Forum wagon, and even tougher with a general forum. The only thing you can do is just keep advertising (not spamming) and keep your fingers crossed. Join as many sites as possible, email teen sites (without forums) and ask the owner if they'd like to join forces with you.

With a general forum, it's best to focus on teens, so jump on My Space, Tagworld.com and open a blog etc.

The first 100 members won't appear overnight, even over the month, hell, maybe not a year, it's not that easy, and if it was we'd all have the same amount of members, lol.

Place your forumsite in your sig, and post a lot on forums with related interests. If you have money to spend, you can advertise with google adwords and buy forum posters or something that it doens't look inactive for the visiters from adwords.

The best way I think is at first word of mouth. Invite your friends, and have them invite people. Make friends with people online and invite them to your forum to keep them active. Get a few people active on your forum and posting regularly then your advertising efforts will pay off.
