Hi, could you please tell me if you know any good examples of corporate forums? I mean, the vast majority of forums and online communities is run by private persons but maybe there are also some forums out there that were started by established companies. For example, a software company could offer support to their customers and partners through a forum.
So far, I haven't been able to find any forums that would provide the type of information I"m looking for. I know that Adobe, Nuance and so on do offer forums but they focus only on product issues. What about socializing, public relations etc.?

Hosting companies tend to have forums in place. They typically offer information regarding network outages, user-supported assistance, product support, deals and special offers, and that sort of thing.

I can't think of very many companies that encourage active or offtopic discussions for their forums except for companies that tend to have significant fanbases in media. Examples of that would be discussions about movies, books, music etc.

First forum I ever joined, wanted to find out more info about one of their games and ended up finding a whole community Eidos interactive publishes games, and they've got an increadible relationship with their fans and suporters on the forums. They've got a section for all of their games they've published, and a very tight community chat section
