Idea for a new kind of forum

Here's what Im thinking of,basically the forum starts off with nothing(its an empty forum to start off with, lets consider any forum software for now). The member(s) then choose a forum(subforum) of their own.For eg:Suppose one of my friends wants to write articles on,lets say a sport. Then a separate forum is alloted for this guy and he is asked to post his articles there. This can also be done for a group:Eg:If a group wants a forum on say,rpg games, then they are alloted a forum.Add to this, the people requesting these things are made mods of that particular forum.Ofcourse there will be globies and admins to make sure that no crap is being posted. Now at any point if a particular forum isnt doing so well, then that forum is then removed. For eg:Lets say that the articles of a person isnt getting much views, attention or replies, then that subforum is removed and a new request placed in its place. As time goes on only the people with the best work are eventually with long running forums and attention. What this does is gives the members two options(instead of one is standard forums), A)They can either be just a normal member and post in the topics they like.(They are bound to be interested somewhere as in a concept like there is bound to be a forum/subforum of your choice) B)They can opt to build on a subforum and a topic by requesting for one and then posting stuff that attracts attention. I hope that people here can understand what Im actually trying to convey. If anyone has any doubts on the concept or anything related then please post in this thread. If anyone is willing to work with me in starting a concept like this, then either post here or pm me or mail me at sid_19840@hotmail.com Im a firm beleiver that with proper implementation this idea will definately work. Sid.

I like to call it 'Communist Cyberia' A forum built for the people, by the people. The only way you can get this to work well is to start with a group of people when creating. Get a bunch of people who are interested in contributing to the forum, and it will grow quickly.

If people ask for a certain forum and there is enough interest then i give them their chance to make the forum work and see how active it is, but if it dies out i remove it. Biggger forums do requests and people vote on which one they want added and they add new ones every month. So unless you mean something different to what ive just said then its being done.

In otherwords set a criteria to allow a subforum. Maybe after a user has 500 posts then they can start a subforum. That way, you know they are commited to making it work.
