Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 17  | Give me all your [niche] ideas I need ideas for my forum... I'm doing a complete re-write of all the categories and everything, to hover around one niche.... what should it be? Real estate? web hosting? cpanel? Give me ideas, I'm open to anything that has potential.

| Yeah, I find some of the things I like tend to be over-done in terms of forums, and as a result, find that there is always at least one bigger than mine.

| Hehe, interesting thread.  I would recommend you do some keyword research on various topics that interest you. Also, take a close look at the competition in each market and determine if you can do something better or come at a different angle.

I'd sit down and create a list of 5-10 topics that you are interested in...Then go see what the competition looks like for each of these. Narrow the list down to a few with the least overall competition. Then you can ask around and see what other people think, but ultimately, you should go with a topic that you are interested in and one that you can offer something unique that nobody else has.
