I get like 200+ unique visitors everyday, 100s and on some 1000s of views per thread, but none will join, and the ones that do join don't post anything.

So tell me what I'm doing wrong eh?

Can you afford to lose the adverts? I think I would if you can, they don't look great to be honest. They are off-putting too.

What about a more unique skin? That's a default one isn't it you're using?

Have you tried making some areas members-only and 'carrot dangling' to potential new members by letting them view topics, but have to join to read and post?

I don't like the portal page at all, sorry - it also scrolls width-ways of my screen, very annoying!

Can you run any competitions? See AF posts for lots of ideas!

When you're new and have less members, it's always a good idea to have less categories - I know you don't have too many, but can you lose even one or two more perhaps and combine for now? That way your forums look busier with even less areas.

Just some really quick thoughts at the moment, but I'll give it some more thought tonight.

I would remove a few of them ads, the firefox ad that comes up to go into the forum was a bit off-putting.

For the time i saw your forum, it wasnt categorized. Try orgnising your forums out. Make it look heaps better and easier to find new posts.

I Would definately get a new skin, the default skin is basic and shows to a lot of people that your not serious about this forum. A skin can do a lot, and getting members is one of them.

I'll work on those suggestions, anyway I know I need a good theme, but I can't afford to have one made, I know the one Im using sucks, the buttons are too small I think.

Well I installed some new themes, it's just that a few of my mods won't work now, which doesn't really matter at the momemt anyway.

I'm using 1024 x 768 and it was scrolling on Firefox and IE - but the problem's dissapeared now with the new skin (which is looking nicer than before BTW balzizras ).

Yah it does look nicer, tho now I need to save up a few bucks for programming, in order to make those new themes work with a few of the mods I have installed.
