I have seen several member forums here (including AF) involved in BoardTracker - do you see much benefit from this? I am considering it for TalkWhatever but m looking for others' experience to draw from - what does it bring you in terms of traffic?

We do see some traffic from it...not much traffic, but we do see some. It's not hard to submit your forums, and once you do, you don't ever have to touch it again...so it can't hurt to do it anyways.

There are quite a few of other tools over there that also might be handy, but I'll be honest and say that I haven't taken a good look at them. I have set it up to notify me any time that "adminfusion" is posted in any thread in the BT system. This is a good way for me to help keep track of what people are saying about us elsewhere. So even if we don't receive any traffic from BT, they still do have some nice tools for us to use

One thing that interested me is the tag cloud and I see AF uses that as well as some search components ... still mulling it over - not exactly the highest priority but having experience to draw from helps. Thanks for the response.

I was the same way as you Toucan,
I installed it with the tag cloud and really liked it.. then I realized that the url's BT was showing aren't vBSEO'd
so I unstalled it and am using zoints.. BT still scans my site but I don't use the thread tags anymore.

I assume then Zoints offers a cloud? What I note from the AF tag cloud is all the links are internal to AF (I gather this is a setting you can allow URL's from outside your own forum).

You have been singing the praises of vBSEO (here and another thread) ... I checked it out but right now it's too steep for me.
