I own Bliss Host which is a free SMF forum hosting site.

I need ideas for advertisements for when people advertise it on forums etc.

Any ideas?

Well basically i currently use this information in this topic below to advertise.

But its not really that appealing to people as its just a load of rubbish about what you can and can not do.

I need to change it so it seems more appealing to people.

I think that your ad is too technical...you need to sell us the product, not give us the technical aspects/features. Take a look at some other free forum hosts:

http://www.smfforfree.com
http://www.invisionfree.com

Notice how they sell you on their service? Things like:

I think that's the kind of stuff you need to go for...Use the initial page view or couple paragraphs to sell your viewers and then link them to more details.

hmmm, those are good ideas and so i will need to think of something like that.

Ryans right, sell the product first. Make sure to slip in there somewhere that there is more details available, so that the technically interested will check you out.
