Also, explain to them how to enforce the rules and handle certain situations... You've got to get this kind of stuff out there at first, afterall, this is what your mods are for. Then comes the stuff about actively posting, promoting, and encouraging good, quality posts

This tells me that they're interested in the position as it actually takes some time filling it out. Secondly, they must agree to the terms & agreements of the site as well as the forum rules before submitting the application. After I review an application and believe them to be worthy of a position, I contact them via email and setup a live Ventrilo or Skype meeting. Pending the meeting, I will decline or accept the application. I'm very serious when it comes to who works for me. I spend a lot of time and money making my websites work and I can't have anyone screwing it up. | ||||

If not, then, I said, "I'm sorry, but I think we are looking for someone else..." or something along those lines. | ||||

| Title: Groupie Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 48 ![]() | Well,although my forum is very new,I told my list of staff members to be active,try preventing spam from the forum,give warnings to members in case the break the rules,and basically keep updating me on anything generally going on the forum.The real challenge with staff imo,is when your forum really gets big. | ||||
