I want to create a forum to show my styles and to offer support for them and image requests for my styles.

I know how I will do almost everything, but I´m missing one important thing...the name!

I was thinking about xstyles.net, the domain is available and I already though of a logo, but the problem is that xtyles.com is a website that shows erotic content and I don´t want my members going there if they miss the .net domain with the .com

So, should I go ahead with the name and register the domain or should I go for a diff name (if so, any suggestion?), and another thing, do you think xtyles.net is a good domain name (I don´t care about SEO as everybody will go to that site from a link on my styles to get support, updates or modifications, etc.).

Personally, I'd not register a domain that has a counterpart that is associated with any form of adult material.

Generally, .com is entered in the browser before .net, .org, .info and so forth, so when if they are mistaken and enter .com instead of .net you've probably just lost a visitor.

Get creative, think of a name that details the service(s) you will be offering. That or just think of an "off the wall" name for shock value.

Let me tell you about my project (again), I will post there a forum to give support for my forum styles (any forum software), I will have a support zone, an image request zone and a mod integration zone (to start with) for each style I develop. Users will also be able to download the styles aswell. What will be a good name for it?

I was thinking about ReijiDesigns.com, what do you think?

Just an update, I registered ReijiDesigns.com, now its only a matter of time untill the release of that forum.

Ya definitely don't use the same name as an adult site. Even though its not your fault, people will definitely be turned off if they accidentally go to the .com.

how bout something catchy like

boardstyles.com

boardart.com

boardmod.com
