Do you think it would be a good idea or a waste of time to start a forum for nikon cameras. There are already a few out there (four that i know about and they are nikonians.org, planetnikon.com, nikoncafe.com and allnikon.com) there probably are more but i dont know of them.

I dont want to do a photography forum is to big of a topic and there are alot of photography forums out there (i think )

So do you think it would be a good idea and i should try it? or do you think dont try it because there already is a couple. If i end up doing it i need ideas that would make it different then the other nikon forums (like AF has PostFusion) so if you guys have any ideas that a photographer would want and it would be helpful or something please tell me

Oh and any name suggestions would be nice i would like it to have nikon in it.

As the competition exists you'll need to have half a dozen (real or not) members ready to post loads straight off so you look like you're worth joining.

You or someone on there will have to be pretty knowledgeable about nikons in order to give good solid timely advice.

As for special features, hmm, not sure about special but a photo gallery is essential, obviously.

You never know what kind of interest there will be in a forum so you won't know until you try it. If it's a subject you're interested in then I'd give it a go

Well I think photography is a good niche idea, just do something unique with it. I know photography can be hard (I run one myself) and if quite competitive, but they are pretty easy to get a link with on Wiki.
